Change IP Address

Edit the /etc/network/interfaces file in the following fashion

# The primary network interface
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
        address 192.168.1.150
        netmask 255.255.255.0
        network 192.168.1.1
        broadcast 192.168.1.255
        gateway 192.168.1.1

Then check the DNS config file
- /etc/resolv.conf
Then restart networking
- sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart
